Preparing and carrying an appropriate survival kit into remote areas doesn’t happen by accident.
Your kit must be appropriate for the environment that you intend to operate within (eg. a marine kit is of little use in the Simpson Desert) and you need the knowledge and experience to understand what you actually need to carry based on your individual circumstances. Remember too that the items in your survival kit should always have multiple uses.
